NEW HAMPSHIRE CREDIT UNIONS AND MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION® OF NEW HAMPSHIRE CELEBRATE HONOR HEROES DAY
The New Hampshire Credit Union League along with 11 wish children and volunteers from the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of New Hampshire will meet with firefighters throughout the state on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. to honor and thank New Hampshire firefighters for all they do.
From Manchester to Berlin, New Hampshire firefighters have enriched the lives of wish children by providing experiences ranging from fire station tours to fire truck escorts for wish children traveling to airports for trips and adventures that fire departments have sponsored. To thank firefighters, wish children will present each fire station with a copy of the 2009 Make-A-Wish® New Hampshire Raffle Calendar. Proceeds from calendar sales, which are available at many credit unions throughout New Hampshire, will assist the NHCUL in reaching their 2009 fundraising goal of $150,000 for Make-A-Wish Foundation® of New Hampshire.
