Audit Details: An energy audit is a survey that shows how much energy is used in a home or other building. It helps identify inefficiencies and ways to use less energy. A home energy audit will pinpoint where a house is losing energy, determine the efficiency of the home's heating and cooling systems, and may point to ways to conserve hot water and electricity. AWS services are for homeowners that wish to maximize their return on investment, are concerned about safety and desire long term solutions. AWS’s comprehensive energy audit takes on average two hours to complete and the firm asks that the owner of the facility under audit be present. Once the audit is complete the client will receive a written recommendation as to the upgrades required to maximize the cost savings as well as any behavioral changes that would further add to or guarantee their safety, comfort and cost savings. Once the audit is complete AWS will give the homeowner an estimate of the time and cost required to completely address all issues identified in the audit result. As you would expect, there are many factors to consider in making recommendations. AWS’s goal is to offer the most professional and customer centric service in the marketplace. AWS uses the latest in technology in our audit process including the Department of Energy recommended blower door test and a thermographic scan.
